I ordered this sweater in a size 12, giving some room for my 9 year old to grow into it. It still fits, albeit being a bit large on her. But she can wear it, and she definitely has thoughts about it!Directly from the 9 year old's mouth: "It's warm! It's a good texture, I don't think it would rip that easily. It's kind of stretchy. It's not tight, so there is the ability to move your arms really easily without worrying about ripping it. There are no itchy tags like there are with some of these kinds of sweaters. I like how the design is - how it's big on the arms and the wrist part goes down. The sleeves are long and comfy. It feels nice - very soft! The hole at the front with the twist is kind of confusing, but it looks good anyway. I love it!"I had to laugh about the product page breaking down the fabric makeup: "50.7%Viscose28.6%Polyester20.7%Nylon"! That is very, very specific! Regardless, it's nice that it's apparently machine washable, too. I really need that in today's fast-paced world. I don't need to forget about that, throw it in the wash, and accidentally shrink it. That's never already happened several times, of course, with various other items of clothing *cough*.The sweater is nice because that type of sweater to me seems like it matches just about anything - especially if you get a basic color like white or black. I got black, and it'll likely mostly be paired with blue jeans and/or leggings and boots.Overall it's a very pretty sweater (it's going to be gorgeous in my opinion with a silver necklace!). The knit is tight (but still be careful around objects it could snag on!) and it looks great. It's soft and fits my child well. She loves it! That's what I need to know more than anything. But also, for this kind of sweater I like the price for this, too. And it's baggy (I bought it that way deliberately) so it will last awhile as long as she doesn't accidentally rip it. Definitely highly recommend this sweater!
