This is a beautiful and quality stylish pullover sweater that contours well to the body. The size seems true. This sweater would be appropriate for fall or winter. It could be dressed up or down. The neckline is comfortable, has adequate stretch and maintains it's shape. The sweater material is of medium weight and provides adequate warmth in snowy conditions without being bulky. The sweater is comfortable to wear beneath a coat. The weave is tight and the seams are nicely finished. The cuff and hemline edges look secure. I don't anticipate that these edges will fray. Piling has been minimal, however, if it should become a problem a fabric shaver. safety razor, pumice stone or sweater comb followed by tape or a lint roller should manage it. I haven't had difficulty laundering it, but I would recommend washing it inside out and on a gentle cycle. I purchased both the blue and the pink sweater. Both sweaters are lighter in color than shown in the Amazon picture. Though the colors are not as depicted on Amazon I am still very happy with the product and would recommend it to others.
